Day Drive Through North/Central Oregon

Wow, I still can't believe how many beautiful places there are close to home in Oregon. Brenda and I love a certain day trip from Portland, driving east on I-84 to just past the Dalles. Take the Mosier exit and check out the overlook at Rowena, then south toward Wasco and see the wind farms, very cool! It's like driving into the past in north central Oregon. We had the best burgers we ever ate at the Twist & Shake Drive-In Restaurant in downtown Condon. Great food, great service, great people. Here are few images from our little trip. Cool trip to Utah

Just thought I would share a glimpse of a trip we made to Arches and Canyon lands National Parks. Moab was really awesome too. Our cabin was comfortable and air conditioned thankfully.
